Landmark in the former open pit Meuro. Was used there. Maybe not for long to admire, because he will eventually be demolished because of dilapidation. Spacious locked.

This monster was a bucket wheel excavator, which was manufactured in 1964/1965 by VEB Schwermaschinenbau Lauchhammerwerk and was in use until 2002.
