The Boxberg Castle Ruins, also known as Boxberg Palace, are a historic castle complex in Boxberg, Baden-Württemberg. The castle was first mentioned in the 11th century and has been owned by various noble families over the centuries.

The complex has been destroyed and rebuilt several times. Particularly notable is the year 1523, when the castle was destroyed during conflicts with the Swabian League. Today, some remains remain, including parts of the curtain wall, a round tower, and vaulted cellars.

The castle ruins are located on the Schlossberg hill and offer magnificent views of the surrounding area. They were recently named Monument of the Month for May 2025 after unstable walls were restored.

Wonderful partly preserved plant of grown shell limestone and bricked elements. Many paths, stairs and places. "Secret passage", defense tower and well are preserved. Very nice destination to let the imagination fly.
