I can only recommend the Wartberg mountain restaurant. The view is wonderful. The kitchen is good and the staff is very attentive.
However, it may be that a busload of people arrives, so delays are to be expected ;-)
The observation tower is open until 6 p.m. and offers 360 degree views of the area. In front of the restaurant there is also a publicly accessible space to enjoy the view towards Heilbronn.
