In the heart of Gemünd, artists from then and now present their works in a former school, the KunstForum Eifel. The spectrum of the changing exhibitions ranges from conventional painting shows to experimental performance projects, shows painting, drawing and printmaking, sculpture, photography and spatial installations as well as sound and video art. After a major renovation, the KunstForumEifel in the former primary school in the center of the pedestrian zone of Gemünd is now a modern building with two floors flooded with light. There, both regularly changing exhibitions of contemporary art and, also in a changing presentation, pictures of the already established “Eifel Romanticism” are shown.
