A wooded nature reserve in the Arno valley. Before the dam was built in the 1950s, the Arno flowed through the very deep, wild rocky valley, which is now covered by water. Hence the name Valle dell'Inferno. After flooding, a variety of animal and plant Weld has settled on the lakes and bogs created.
