There used to be quite a number of water mills, none of which can be visited today. Also here you will find the Nederlands Watermuseum, a game reserve, a series of sculptures and a slightly higher for the Netherlands astonishingly old forest and a lookout tower (Sun afternoon open). The round on the many paths around the lakes is worthwhile.

Unique Dutch park, as it sets itself on a hill (and of course The Netherlands if pretty flat everywhere else). Nice park to stroll through or ride your bike through.
There are great gravel tracks in the park, but be aware that it is officially not legal to ride your bike here. Definite highlight is visiting the 'Witte Villa' for a drink, lunch and a great view upon the city.
