A historic village in the borough of Harrow, Harrow on the Hill has a charming atmosphere, far away from the hustle and bustle of central London. In the village, you can visit the place where King Charles I stopped to glimpse London a final time before escaping to Oxford in 1646. A plaque near Harrow School marks the spot.

great little area with unexpected views over London. Doesn't feel like London with it's steep streets and nice unusual (for london) houses.
