Very nice all-round view of the Karwendel and the Bavarian Prealps in the shadow of the Juifen. Very gracious little alpine pasture.

If you start the Rotwandalm from the Sylvenstein over the Bächental you reach the Lochalm Mitterleger (1432m). From here a path branches off to the right up to Tiefenbachalm (1602m) and Lochalm-Hochleger (1628m). In view of the Marbichler peak (1898m), Kafell (1906m) and Rether head (1926m) can be reached on this way a wonderfully located alpine area around the Tiefenbachalm (1602m) and the Lochalm-Hochleger (1628m). Just a few steps to the small summit cross and you can enjoy a fantastic view over the countless mountain peaks of the Karwendelgebirge. This detour with about 200 hm is definitely very rewarding.

If you like bike & hike tours, take the mountaineering bike to the Rotwandalm and then walk to the Juifen. The path from the pasture to the grass-covered summit offers promising views. Already from the Rotwandalm you have the panorama with the distinctive mountain peaks of the Karwendel mountains in view. It's even more pronounced at the top of the Juifen! It is an officially approved and signposted MTB tour in Tyrol and can also be done via the Bächental.
