The climb was my first via ferrata and I had no problems. If you are somewhat dizzy, it is just fun. Technically not really demanding and only the last piece requires some arm strength.

This is a short but worthwhile via ferrata. The view is wonderful and with the flying fox, the rope bridge and a pleasant mixture of via ferrata elements, nobody is neglected, even if the level of difficulty is in the lower range.

If this trail is too easy for you, you can get on the Laxersteig a little earlier. This then turns into the Schützensteig. On the Laxersteig, care should be taken to ensure that it has enough time to dry out after a rain, as on the one hand the approach leads over a steep meadow and on the other hand the via ferrata is on the shady side of the mountain and the slippery rock makes the climb considerably more difficult.

Great via ferrata with a climbing time of around 1 hour. However, we stopped at the emergency exit after the bridge because, as absolute beginners to via ferratas (but experienced in the mountains), we had mental problems with the depth. There is nothing underneath you. In some places you have to stand on the roots of dead trees. We didn't dare do the flying fox either. Children who are too small should not go with us because the footholds are sometimes too far apart for an adult. We absolutely advise against doing it in rain and snow! However, we are practicing and will come back to try the whole climb again.
