The Wolfgang Church
On a hill stands the Wolfgang Church, leading to the 31 steps from the village square up. The church with the mighty 25 meter high tower is the type of fortified church. The construction period is unknown, but may have originated in the transitional period from the Romanesque period to the Gothic. The wide belt at the base of the tower and the east window still have Romanesque features. The upper part of the tower is gothic, as is the chancel with ribbed vaulting. The hollow ribs of the choir vaulting outgrow the masonry; in the middle a small plate stone.
