Actually, this is the sand pits between Atzmannsricht, Cainsricht, Großschönbrunn until shortly before Ehenfeld. Some call the pits the Grand Canyon of the Upper Palatinate. The sandstock height is about 32 meters and extends over an eight-kilometer-long terrain.
