From a plateau on a crag you have a great view of the lighthouse, the bay of Cala Ratjada and the cliffs.

If you like it more romantic and idyllic, go down to the first house on the left in Cala Gat, there is a pad path along the steep coast, sometimes you have to overcome a few falls but doable. From there over the steep coast to the lighthouse, of course with sturdy shoes

to the lighthouse this is a route of the easier kind, fixed wide paths wonderful views and photo opportunities guaranteed and not overcrowded in the low season

The path is unexpectedly challenging and always offers new views. Luckily we only met a few hikers. But I wouldn't imagine doing that during peak season.

The detour to the lighthouse wasn't actually part of today's hike, but the walk there and back to Cala Ratjada was the highlight of the short trip to Mallorca. This rugged coastline is a must-see.
