The actual ascent to the Anwandfelsen is classified as difficult:
Good basic fitness, surefootedness, and sturdy footwear are essential.
Parts of the trail follow narrow, steep paths with an alpine character.
Once at the top, you are rewarded with a fantastic panorama of Geislingen and the Fils Valley. The Anwandfelsen itself is a striking vantage point with unobstructed views over the wooded hills and the valley below – particularly impressive on a clear day or in the golden light of autumn.

Nice, steep climb. That's fun. Along the way, a few broken concrete pillars can be seen as the remains of a cable car that limestone transported for the former cement factory.
