From the former ancestral castle of the Rechberger to the church, the path is flanked by a Way of the Cross from 1891.
Since the 15th century, a pilgrimage site has been proven on the mountain. Together with the ruin Hohenrechberg and the three imperial mountains, it is a landmark of the region.
