                              The Bleiersag waterwheel in Kiefersfelden is a lovingly preserved testament to traditional craftsmanship and water technology. Originally, the waterwheel was used to power a saw – the so-called "Bleiersäge" (leader saw). Tree trunks were processed into planks using the power of the Gießenbach stream, a once important part of local craftsmanship.

                              Today, the waterwheel serves primarily as a historical display and a popular tourist destination. It impressively illustrates how people harnessed the energy of water for their work centuries ago – sustainably, efficiently, and in harmony with nature.
