Here you cross the ridge from the Voralptal to the Göschenertal. Alternatively, you can also take a detour to the Bergseeschijen summit from here. The view makes up for all the effort. Climbers who take the via ferrata from the Bergseehütte come towards you here.

For the crossing of this ridge you should be as free of heights as possible or at least not look down. From the south side, it goes first over some steel hangers relatively steeply a few meters up, before the relatively steep rock face must be committed sideways obliquely high along a wire rope. On rocky outcrops, the feet find there again and again hold. Good footwear is definitely required. This also applies to the descent on the other side, where on relatively large boulders sometimes quite steep (at least the first few meters) has climbed down or must be climbed.
