The White Tower is the last relic of Hohenberg Castle, which stood on this site before the palace. Its height is 48.11 meters. From up here, you can see large parts of the city of Bad Homburg, as far as the Taunus and Wetterau mountains.

Even from afar, the tower of Bad Homburg Castle, known as the White Tower because of its paintwork, catches the eye. Although it is not the only tower in the city, it is the tallest. This is why the tower, built in the 14th century as a freestanding keep and now standing in the middle of the castle courtyard, is also Bad Homburg's landmark—and also a popular observation tower.

This tower can be seen from afar, it is surprising to see that it stands completely free in a courtyard. Very nice location from where you can see a nice view over the park.
