The water quality is checked here regularly and is excellent! However, if you want to swim, you have to wait a few hundred meters through the water until it is deep enough. Ideal for children!
The dog beach is only about 250m further west.

The state-approved resort of Zierow is located on the west coast of Mecklenburg's Baltic Sea coast, directly on the Bay of Wismar. Zierow is surrounded by fields, meadows and forests and has an approximately two-kilometer stretch of Baltic Sea coast on the Eggers Wiek. Spacious farmland, avenues, rows of trees, hillocks, copses and hedges characterize the landscape in and around Zierow. Beautiful head lindens characterize the appearance of some streets in the village.

The mild bracing climate and the lush forests, which ensure clean and oxygen-rich air, provide the best conditions for a relaxing stay.
The natural beach of Zierow is particularly popular with families with small children due to the shallow bathing entrance. A designated dog beach is not far away.
There is a large playground, various snack bars, a café and a miniature golf course right on the beach. The Ostseecamping holiday park also has lots of attractive offers for young and old, even beyond the season.

Zierow offers hikers and walkers a variety of beautiful hiking trails that lead past wide fields, through deep green forests and to the sea. Zierow also has a lot to offer for cyclists: many cycle routes lead through Zierow and the surrounding area, e.g. also the Ostseeradfernweg and the Kulturradweg, on which you can cycle to other destinations worth seeing.
