Fiuminale is an abandoned village since the 80s, and it consists of two hamlets: Fiuminale Sottano and Fiuminale Soprano. It is a place out of time, suspended between present and past, earth and sky.

Fiuminale is a village abandoned since the 80s. There is no access road, so you have to go up the river from the bridge of hell in the municipality of Velone Orneto. The small chapel of St. Joseph was restored in 2012.

This is where the access to the hiking trails begins. Opposite below the bridge is a pool for bathing.

Fantastic mountain road between Ginestreto and Coccola. The road quality between Ginestreto and the Pont de l'Enfer is rather poor but okay with the racer, while the section between the bridge and Coccola has great fairly new asphalt. Really great views and one or the other animal encounter make the route a real highlight.

Nearby, the rich museum of Marana. And at 300 m, in the middle of the countryside, the church of San Parteo, 12th century.

Old arch bridge with restoration and bathing pump next to it. In addition to the restoration, you can rent donkeys here for a hike. It's definitely fun with children. For one day you pay 58 €.
