In order to document the development of the unique craft of stick making and to show the work steps required to make the traditional "walking stick", a small stick making museum was set up in a former workshop in 1980 and was gradually expanded. Documents and pictures, tools, historical and new sticks give the visitor a clear picture of the history and working methods of the craft branch, which is still flourishing today. The members of the local history association of the stockmaker village of Lindewerra look after the museum. Opening hours: April 1st to October 31st: Sunday from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m Visits outside of these times are possible all year round by prior arrangement.
