Magnificent castle complex. You can see as far as Château de Quéribus and further towards the sea. In summer, flowers grow from every wall and crevice in the rocks.

Beautifully restored hotel in the old mill. We stayed there on our long-distance hike from Tarifa (Spain) to Switzerland and can highly recommend the hotel and the restaurant.

This small rural town is nestled in the heart of the Corbières massif. The peaceful village is best known for its castle and its havens of coolness found along the Verdouble (river which crosses the gorges of the same name). It's an ideal stopover to spend the night or simply take a break. There you will find several cafes and restaurants.

The very steep part at the start is not essential, very steep (too) to start. You can also leave from the start of the loop. That said, very nice walk, despite the drought.

Near the entrance portal, this viewing walkway leads to a breathtaking view of the valley and the Château Quéribus, which is within sight. The viewing bridge is still in the public area, so there is no entrance fee. Thanks to its solid construction, it is also suitable for people with a fear of heights.
