The road surface to Bocca di a Battaglia has been completely renewed - as of September 2023 - and can be ridden perfectly even with the most delicate racing bike tires.

Brand new road from Speloncato up here. Runs. And huge parking lot as a starting point for tours. Unfortunately, the A Merendella restaurant was closed in the afternoon in June.

This route connects Monte Sant'Anghjulu with the ridge above Santa-Reparata-di-Balagne. You can continue your run going down towards Santa-Reparata-di-Balagna or running towards Sant’Antoninio. Be aware that this trail is only suitable for locals who know the terrain by heart. All others walk. In my opinion it is better to go up from Santa-Reparata and go down towards Corbara. But each to his own taste.
