A pretty medieval city to cross by bike

Murat is a very authentic small town.

Today attached to Murat, Chastel-sur-Murat, which was a former oppidum, had a castle backing onto the church in the Middle Ages.

A monastery would have been founded in Bredons in the 11th century and the fountain would then have been attached to the monastic church.
