I stopped there for a quick drink (without alcohol :p) before attacking the Roca Jalera pass. It's a very nice place, the owner is very nice and he even did me the favor of filling my bottles with fresh water and ice cubes please! Thanks again you'll see me again :)

Built in 1899, the Cortalets refuge is one of the oldest in the Pyrenees. It is located on the GR 10 and HRP (Haute Route Pyrénéenne) trails at the foot of Canigou at an altitude of 2,150 meters. During guarding periods, the refuge has 105 beds compared to 19 outside guarding.

The Abbey of Saint-Michel de Cuxa is a Benedictine monastery located at the foot of Canigou, in the town of Codalet. An absolutely incredible pink and brown stone building. It can be visited (at least in summer)
