Very nice hiking route. We did it with kids aged 10 and 11 and they really enjoyed it.

Original ironworks which was operated with water power. Preserved today as an industrial museum. Educational for the whole family.

It is around the collegiate church of Moustier that Saint-Yriex was built, classified city "Most Beautiful Detours of France". Its origins date back to the 6th century and there are still many reliquaries there. It is open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Admission is free.

Absolutely idyllic place, perfect for resting after exercise, or taking a picnic break. The area in general is very beautiful, calm and without too many people. You will find the GR 646 a few hundred meters away.

Idyllic spot .. on the water also nice picnic spots. And very nice to see how people used to work here.
