The bike path begins near Roßleben. It has a good surface, also suitable for inline skating.

This tower is very well inhabited. Especially now, at the end of May, there's a constant coming and going of tower residents. It's nice that there are people repurposing these towers.

Since 1996, the Bottendorf Copperworks Association has been offering a range of activities on a site rich in history, from hands-on customs to rural tourism. If you want to get to know the beauty of northern Thuringia, just visit it. The copperworks area, located directly on the Unstrut, includes the Bottendorf Mill with the campsite, holiday apartments, rustic overnight accommodation for groups and a park-like garden.
