The St. James Church is located directly on the "Saxon Way of St. James". Pilgrims regularly come to the church to stop. Of course, we also offer travelers accommodation if this is desired. The special features of our aesthetically designed cemetery include the graves of Ilse and Ferdinand Schumann. The latter was Robert Schumann's grandson. The church was built from 1889 to 1891 in the neo-Gothic style. The sandstone altar has a Gothic wooden structure decorated with five life-size statues, Christ in the middle of the four evangelists.
