In addition to the great musical instrument museum, the city impresses with lots of greenery and the historic center around the impressive St. Nicolai Church. If you come by on a tour, be sure to stop and try the cakes and other pastries at the traditional Café Seifert.

Tickets must be purchased at the tourist information office, which is diagonally opposite in the Gerber-Hans-Haus. The tour begins there, including a visit to the historical sawmill, with wood as the most important material for the manufacture of many an instrument. The history of the city is presented in the neighboring building. Then you can go across the street to the Musical Instrument Museum. I was lucky, even got a small demonstration of some instruments.
