Very nice pebble beach where you can soak your feet in the middle of a hike. We appreciate the white cliffs facing the English Channel. A real natural gem that invites contemplation, time to recover and resume walking.

Empress Sissi of Austria stayed in Sassetot-le-Mauconduit in 1875 and the town renamed this castle in her honor. Who knows ? Perhaps it will be renamed in your honor after your visit!

An alternative to the very steep path on the map: there is an easier serpentine through the Grands Dalles forest. If you are coming from above, do not turn left but continue straight through the mulberry trees.
