I was up there before 9 a.m. on a Monday during the summer holidays and was completely alone. I highly recommend it!

Beautiful view, like today. For hiking or mountain biking. Tip: If you want to experience something, get up early and, believe me, the peace and quiet on the Belchen is fantastic.

From this part of the Westweg you have a great view of the Feldberg and the beautiful landscape of the Black Forest.

Apart from the fantastic approach, the Belchen offers perhaps the most beautiful view in the entire Black Forest - often with a view of the Alpine chain from the Zugspitze in the east to Mont Blanc in the southwest.
