Commercy is one of the most beautiful detours in France. The town owes its fame to its madeleine (a French church) and its Stanislas Castle. Wandering its streets is a chance to discover 18th-century architecture. A short break here is an opportunity to discover a piece of the history of the Meuse while enjoying a pleasant setting before heading back out onto the surrounding roads and trails.

The Marne-Rhine canal, also called the Meuse canal, is very pretty on the outskirts of the town of Commercy.

In addition to its beautiful church, Euville has the particularity of having a town hall placed under the sign of Art Nouveau. This magnificent building is open to visitors on request. If you like this architecture and the particular objects of this period, then be delighted. The works of recognized artists such as Louis Majorelle or Edgard Brandt are present there.
