Follow the left bank from the centre of Nogent to the Bernière lock and Marnay (be careful, sometimes flooded in winter... but small parallel road towards the Bernière farm and path to Marnay along the railway line)

Possibility by mountain bike or gravel to follow the canal between Port-Montain and Crancey (crossing Nogent-sur-Seine) and join the cycle path which leads to the lakes of the Orient forest

The Saint-Aubin Church in Saint-Aubin is a Romanesque church which dates from the 11th century. You can admire the architecture of the church, which has been modified over the centuries, and see the remarkable tombstone of a knight dating from the 13th century. From the church, you can also admire the Ardusson valley and the surrounding hills. The church is open to visitors every day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Paraclete Abbey was founded by the famous medieval lovers and scholars, Pierre Abélard and Héloïse, in the 12th century. You can explore the remains of the abbey's buildings, such as the 17th century abbot's house, the 16th and 17th century monks' cellar, and the 19th century chapel. You will also be able to see the obelisk which marks the place where Abelard and Héloïse were buried. The abbey is open from July 15 to August 29, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. The entrance price is 5 euros per person. The abbey is set in a picturesque valley surrounded by woods and fields, and you can admire views of the countryside as you walk along the paths.

Small charming village of around 300 inhabitants. There are no stores, just several wineries.
