The Alpiersbacher brewery is always worth a visit, not only because of the many types of beer. You can also discover many things in the associated shop. And for culinary delights, you should definitely visit the Löwenpost brewery opposite 😉

Closely linked to the Gregorian church reform, monks from St. Blasien settled in the Black Forest town for the first time in 1095. The nucleus of the monastery was a former predium, an estate that was probably created in the course of the clearing colonization of the High Middle Ages. Alpirsbach Monastery is open for tours. It is one of the state's own monuments and is looked after by the "State Palaces and Gardens of Baden-Württemberg" institution. The monastery church is available to the Protestant parish for their services, the Catholic parish uses a hall on the south side as a chapel. (Source: Wikipedia)
