The construction of a Catholic chapel on this site was initiated by Father Père Michel in 1854 and also served as a tribute to sailors lost at sea. The cliffs are simply a dream. A highlight of a holiday in Normandy. I highly recommend a hike right along the cliffs. There's something for everyone, whether it's a short or long hike.
