The shelter from the 1970s was replaced in 2026 by a new, unique shelter.

The old wooden hut is gone, but this beautiful shelter has replaced it. It's now finished (as of January 2026) and looks fantastic 👏🏼. Thanks to the builders!

Architecturally and in terms of craftsmanship, it's one of the most beautiful rest huts in the Palatinate Forest. Completed in 2026, it definitely deserved a more scenic location. As it is, there's absolutely no view, and to make matters worse, the hut faces north.

There were no goldfish in the tank in November 2025.

Completion may be delayed; on November 13, 2025, it didn't look finished. But the new cabin will be beautiful – something different from the usual rectangular buildings.
