The path goes from Santenay to Nolay a little uphill but the return journey is all the more relaxed :-) About 500m after the railway crossing in Santenay is the Canal du center with another great cycle path to Chalon sur Saone in one direction and Montceau le mines in the other.

The Route des Grands Crus (roughly, "road of the great wines") is the name of a French tourist route situated in Burgundy. The approximately 60-kilometre route runs along the foot of the Côte d'Or escarpment, from Dijon in the north to Santenay in the south.
