Beautiful medieval town along the Senouire, lovely stream

A reinforced concrete structure, built in 1934. It allows you to cross over the Allier River to the charming medieval village of Auzon.

Magnificent town in Haute-Loire with a picturesque historic town center.

Located on the banks of the Allier, this small town has a lot of charm. In addition to the beautiful views of the river and the castle of Saint-Ilpize, it has several businesses, including a hotel-restaurant. In the village, a giant flea market awaits you. The past of Val d'Allier is an atypical boutique which conceals many treasures.

This church is said to be in the Auvergne Romanesque style. Its magnificent size, its different colors of stone, its richly decorated exterior and interior walls and its location in the city center of Brioude are impressive.

This bridge has been classified as a historic monument since 2015. It is one of the four suspension bridges remaining in Haute-Loire. It spans the Allier and offers a beautiful perspective of the gorges.

Lamothe is a picturesque village in the Brioude plain. Its narrow streets, its winegrowers' houses with oesters and its remodeled medieval castle give it a peaceful atmosphere conducive to discovery.

At the crossroads of the Limagne plain and the slopes of Livradois, Auzon bears witness to its medieval remains, including certain historical monuments: a church, a castle and winding, cobbled streets. This small town between land and rocks is worth the detour.
