교회 근처, 오늘날 Aurélie-Picard 광장이 있는 곳쯤에 1854년 여름 Montigny를 휩쓴 파괴적인 콜레라 전염병을 기억하는 소위 "콜레라 희생자 묘지"가 있습니다. 이상하게도 당시 거의 농부와 벌목꾼만 거주하던 교회가 있는 마을 하부는 역병으로부터 완전히 면역되었습니다. 교회와 시청 사이의 경사면에 새겨져 있고 비문이 없는 5단으로 된 큰 십자가는 이 사건을 기념하는 것일 수 있습니다.
