The lake was created in 1974 to regulate the water levels of the Marne River and prevent flooding of the Seine. The landscapes change throughout the year, and each season shines in its own way.

The Gué Botanical Park, located in the Loire Valley, is a haven of peace where nature reigns supreme. With its beautifully landscaped gardens, varied botanical collections and winding paths, it offers visitors an immersive experience at the heart of biodiversity.
