The adjacent Sterrenberg and Liebenstein Castles are located in the Upper Middle Rhine Valley World Heritage Site near Kamp-Bornhofen. Due to the widespread popularity of the legend and the unique location of the castles, separated by two shield walls, the two castles are often referred to as the "Hostile Castles" and are better known by their real names.

About 1km further east you can buy delicious wine from the Bopparder Hamm in the winery including wine tasting
