Dingolfing is the district capital of the district of Dingolfing-Landau in the administrative region of Lower Bavaria.

A rare architectural veneration of the Most Holy Trinity, the triangular tower of the pilgrimage church "auf der Oed" near Aham overlooks the Lower Bavarian hills. Around 1700, farmer Baumgartner got lost during a storm, recognized his way home through an oak tree, and pinned a clay statue of the Trinity to the tree. With the support of Baron von Lerchenfeld, lord of the manor of Aham, a pilgrimage began; a hermitage was built, and in 1710, a Baroque church was erected. Around seven hermits lived at Trinity until the hermitage was sold in 1779. A turbulent past can be traced: a Trinity brotherhood was founded, and many priests and clergy were needed for the high feast days. To the Linden Tree

Catholic pilgrimage church of the Nativity of Mary. A hall church with a projecting west tower, originally a late Gothic structure from the second half of the 15th century, remodeled in the Baroque style around 1760. Around 1470, extensive pilgrimages to Wippstetten began and reached their peak around 1750, when the church received its present appearance.

A truly beautiful town square with various shopping opportunities. It's a great place to linger for a few moments.
