From the Maraner Hauptji, the view over the alpine meadows down to Arosa is simply breathtaking. If your hands or brakes need a break from the bumpy descent, this is the place to go. Sit down on the grass, take a sip from the bottle, and enjoy the panoramic view of the Arosa mountains!

The Isel Reservoir, also known as the Arosa Reservoir or Iselsee, has been dammed since 1897. Initially, the dam wall was only two and a half meters high; after several elevations, it is now around twelve meters high. The electricity generated here covers the equivalent of the needs of approximately 2,500 households.

The path below Lake Älplisee is very varied. At times it's steep in sections secured by steel cables, at others it's very idyllic, directly beside the mountain stream.
