Located in the commune of Anost, the Orme de Brévoigne was a very important crossroads in ancient times, passing through, among other places, the pilgrimage route to Faubouloin.

Created in 1970, the Morvan regional natural park brings together 137 municipalities in the heart of the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region. This granite massif culminates at 901 meters above sea level through Haut-Folin. The Morvan has a rich ecosystem including three Natura 2000 classified sites, and natural areas of floristic and faunal ecological interest (ZNIEFF).

The Saint-Germain church formed a priory-cure donated in 1138. Rebuilt in the 16th century, its nave dates from the 12th century. At the bottom of this beautiful church, a sarcophagus dating from the 6th to the 8th century was discovered in 1979.

The statue of Notre-Dame de l'Aillant was built in 1878. On August 15, 1946, a plaque was added to it in recognition of Our Lady who protected Anost from German troops who were preparing to burn the village in July 1944. The statue also offers a nice view of the Anost valley.

Nestled 550 meters above sea level, the small village of Anost is located in the heart of Haut-Morvan and its massive, rounded peaks. This former industrial capital is not far from Tavernay, Arleuf or Château-Chinon.

The Col d'en Moulu from Cussy en Morvan is 3.1 km long with a total drop of 135 m. The average gradient is 4.4% with maximum gradients of 10%.
