The Basilica is visible from all sides. There are many walks you can take here.

Nice path, but be careful, some sections are not very visible with the autumn leaves, plus the path can be technical in some places with uprooted trees and rocks.

The Saint Germain de Vault church was built at the beginning of the 16th century to replace a Romanesque building. It goes from a flamboyant Gothic style for its oldest part, the east, to the Renaissance style for the western part. Inside you will find beautiful ancient frescoes of the life of Jesus and magnificent glazing above the altar.

A pretty flat segment along the Le Cousin river from Pontaubert to Avallon. The road is shaded and it is pleasantly cool to cycle along the river. The water is not drinkable, but it is nice to stop for a quick swim (the water is not deep).

Magnificent region! Nice surprise for a foreign cyclist.

In this gentle valley, you will hear the soothing sounds of the Cousin River babbling as you walk under the canopy of the trees. Bathed in lush greenery, this walk is a real treat.

The view of Vezelay from afar is very nice.

Be careful, the cobblestones hurt :)
