Boatman's mast of the Hol fast e.V. boatman's association. The boatman's mast is an attraction on the waterway junction adventure trail. The Minden Weser Lock is an economy lock at the Minden waterway junction. It supplements the Minden shaft lock, which is too small for large motor freight vessels. The port of Bremen has also gained direct access to the Mittelland Canal via this larger lock for this type of ship. The new lock is located to the east, parallel to the shaft lock.
