This pretty rock typical of the sandstone formations of the region is enhanced by its waterfall. The small waterfall was created artificially by diverting the Ziegbach. This does not detract from its superb.

What a pretty little waterfall! There is a rock in the forest and water splashes happily down, which then somehow disappears into the ground. You want to stay and stand and look. So beautiful! In summer, however, when everything is dry, there is probably very little or no water flowing here and the rock is just a rock.

The view over the forest canopy is breathtaking; it's just a pity that you can't look down on the Cascade from above. You can catch a glimpse of the falling water from the side, but you can't get a full view, and climbing for that would be far too dangerous.

In a few hundred meters, this path offers an astonishing variety: stairs, uneven section or even more rolling parts. All in a magnificent setting with the pretty Nideck waterfall and the superb view offered by the castle at the top of the course.
