The station house is the best-preserved station house along the old narrow-gauge railway line from Karlshamn to Vislanda. In 1949, a stationmaster and a postal clerk worked at the station. The building, built according to drawings by K.W.J., has not undergone any major changes since its construction in 1874.

Not as crowded as you might think in the off-season. I've been here both on a gravel bike and as a hiker. I was always alone. The toilet block has been slightly expanded and now houses a small waste separation facility.
