Three attractions await you here in quick succession: First you admire the amazing waterfall from below, then you climb the wooden stairs in a sporty manner, and finally you will be rewarded with a wide view.

Simple Protestant church in the town center

On the left side of the floating dock are very tall reeds. Ducks often stay there. During my visit, I even saw a family of ducks with a total of eight young.

The path twists through the forest, with breathtaking views over the lake visible between the branches. The lake is nestled into the centre of the Illern Nature Reserve. The water is clear and the biodiversity is exceptional.

Vättern is Sweden's deepest, and second largest lake. It's famous for its crystal clear waters, long sandy beaches and steep cliffs. From here you can see Visingsö island.

A medieval mill worth seeing that can be visited at certain times for a small fee (2024 = 20 crowns/cash only). Small, but worth it.

A visit to the mill is recommended.

Beautiful church in the heart of Gränna. It is located just above the lake on the main road. If you roll down from the trails at the foot of Svanakullen, you will inevitably pass it. Gränna Church is the town's gem and treasure. It is located in the center of Brahegatan, which in the Middle Ages was part of the Swedish Eriksgata and later "Riksettan". The church is built and consecrated as a resting place for the earth's wanderers and a gathering place for the family of God to the glory of God. As a guide for people on the highway, its tower always points to heaven. The church is usually open during the day from Tuesday to Friday.
