On well-developed bike paths, you can cycle through landscapes of forests, heathlands, and small, hidden forest lakes. The fresh air and proximity to Lübeck make it a lovely destination for a day trip.

Unfortunately, there's no real alternative to the bike path along the road on this section, but that doesn't exactly make it a mountain bike highlight. The views over Lake Dassow at least make up for the technically boring asphalt. But since the bike path is in really good condition, you can get this section over with quickly and move on to more suitable trails.

A beautifully constructed bridge on the former railway embankment between Dassow and Schönberg. From here, you have a magnificent view of the Stepenitz and Maurine lowlands with their reed and moor landscape.

Particularly beautiful in spring and autumn.

Very nice view to the Maritim Travemünde. Along the cycle path there are repeated views of Dassow Bay.
