Today I was lucky enough to be able to take part in a guided tour of the Swedish Parliament. You should know that only guided groups are allowed in. The tours are free and very informative. Prior registration is not necessary. Dates are announced on the notice board.

Another highlight and probably the most important sight in Sweden is the Vasa Museum. The Regal ship Vasa, built for the war against Poland, already capsized and sank on its maiden voyage on August 10, 1628 in the harbor of Stockholm. After it was found in 1956 and recovered in 1961, it can now be admired in a restored form in the museum of the same name.
